café o lait
While I was searching for restaurant and hotel private room rentals, I came upon a local art café in my area. It was this cute café with enough space hold a small wedding reception. Inside the café hangs artworks from local artists. It’s also a place where they host open mic nights, live music from locals on Fridays and Saturdays, and during weekdays, they hold art classes in the evenings. They only serve sandwiches because it’s a café, but it was a good concept for a light, after ceremony food. I was thinking that time that I’d hire a local musician, maybe an acoustic guitar player, just for some low key music while everyone mingles and takes pictures. Last time I checked, they’re permanently closed. Sad. But there are others than opened, with a similar concept.
Rustic-industrial style cafe
Every city has a place like that, especially if you’re around an area where there are so many budding local artists. Just search up for “art cafes”. I’m sure they do private party rentals. It’s a good wedding reception venue because some people with a taste for Arts, really pay a high price to rent an entire art gallery for a big wedding, and this place, with all the local artwork around it, gives the same vibes, minus the black tie formality. I’d say it’s perfect for couples who love art, but are on a tight budget.
I am attaching a link to the new one I found around our area, just to give you an idea of what an art café might look like and the vibes they are going for.
